- Antique Cuirass is best equipped by
Tanks or Fighters against Physical heroes that rely heavily on their skills to do damage. - "Deter" reduces "Physical Damage", which means that Physical Penetration can't counter this item because Physical Penetration has already been counted into Physical Damage.
- Mostly paired with Athena's Shield, Blade Armor and Radiant Armor to counter every types of damage (except True Damage).

Because of its reduction, Deter can result a low final product of the opposing hero's skill, items, or abilities that scale with Physical Damage.
Deter's effects only occur right after the damage is dealt.
