• The Corrosion Scythe is a good item for slowing down enemies and increasing attack speed at the same time.
• This item can be suggested to be purchased after footwear equipment to get high attack speed in the early game to farm faster.
• This item is perfect as one of the core items for high attack speed heroes to increase their attack speed when slowing down their enemies.

Item Combinations

• It is best paired with  Demon Hunter Sword and  Golden Staff to increase attack speed and lifesteal when slowing down and unleash powerful damage to your opponents.

The slow effect from Corrosion Scythe's Unique Passive - "Corrosive" can be stacked up to 5 times (40%), which makes it effective against heroes with poor mobility, or items with speed up effects:

Weaknesses

The strength of Corrosion Scythe lies in its high attack speed and slow effect. To counter these advantages, it is recommended to use heroes or buy items that possess attack speed reduction, resilience, slow reduction or slow immunity.

• Heroes with attack speed reduction effects such as:
  • Claude's Art of Thievery
  • Hylos's Ring of Punishment
  • Masha's Howl Shock

• Heroes with resilience effects such as:
  • Barats's Big Guy
  • Harith's Zaman Force

• Heroes with slow immunity effects such as:
  • Hylos's Glorious Pathway
  • Joy's Ha, Electrifying Beats!
  • Zilong's Supreme Warrior
    • Despite Wanwan doesn't have any Slow Immunity effects in her skills, however her passive - Tiger Pace will not be affected by slow effects.

•  Chastise Pauldron can reduce the attack speed from Corrosion Scythe.
•  Brute Force Breastplate can reduce the slow effect from Corrosion Scythe once it reaches full stacks.
•  Rapid Boots and  Tough Boots can reduce the slow effect from Corrosion Scythe.
•  Wind of Nature is able to immune to the extra damage from Corrosion Scythe.

Talents

• Weakness Finder can reduce the attack speed from Corrosion Scythe.

Battle Spell

• Sprint can immune the slow effect from Corrosion Scythe.
• Vengeance can reduce and reflect the extra damage from Corrosion Scythe.

Notes

• The Unique Passive "Corrosive" does not benefit from regen effects and cannot trigger skill effects.
• "Corrosive" cannot be reflected by  Blade Armor because it cannot reflect attack effects.
• Although some magic heroes such as Chang'e or Natan can use it, it is not recommended for them to use it. After all, no matter who uses it, it still deals Physical Damage.
• It is not recommend building it with  Feather of Heaven, their Unique Passive "Impulse" cannot be stacked, only the one purchased first will trigger the effect.
  • Example: Chang'e bought  Feather of Heaven first before Corrosion Scythe, only  Feather of Heaven's "Impulse" will be triggered.

Some heroes' passives or skills only inherit a portion of the effects, so the damage of "Corrosive" will be reduced:
