As the youngest daughter of one of the few noble households in the Land of Dawn, House Baroque, she studied at the Magic Academy since she was a child, and is extremely talented in magic. The household wanted her to marry into another household with a higher status. Unwilling to be used as a political bargaining chip, Guinevere decided to seek help from her elder brother Lancelot.

Lore

The Baroque family is one of the few nobles on the Land of Dawn. The most prestigious skill of theirs, fencing, the family's forte, discourages countless opponents from even thinking about attacking. In addition, beauty and wisdom are also the most perfect genetic signs of the Baroque family, just like the eternal beauty and love of Violet.

World-famous as Baroque family's fencing is, young Guinevere doesn't like it at all. Just like other girls, she is naturally fond of gorgeous things. From youth, she was sent to the Magic Academy. Relying on her own sensitive spiritual perception and anti-gravity magic, when Guinevere was 10 years old, she successfully combined mental perception with super energy and invented multiple magic effects — magic superpower. Such a breakthrough made Guinevere more passionate about magic, and she often experimented with her new magic on her brother, Lancelot. No matter how Lancelot hides, he will be found by his sister. Therefore, Lancelot is often caught in an unknown thrill. In his childhood, his sister was always causing him a headache. But anyhow, Lancelot still loves Guinevere. He always shows a smile to his beloved sister. But every time when Lancelot thinks of his little sister's magic experiment, he would wear a bitter smile.

Recently, something has been plaguing Guinevere, making her uneasy. It is said that the Paxley nobles who have a very high magical status have proposed marriage to the Baroque family. Guinevere is undoubtedly the most suitable choice and Guinevere's father seems to be very willing with the marriage. But the reluctant Guinevere suddenly thinks of an idea—she hopes to find her brother Lancelot…

Super Magic Buff Damage Guinevere deals 25% extra damage to airborne enemies. Guinevere deals (+80% Total Physical Attack) (+60% Total Magic Power) Magic Damage with her Basic Attacks and accumulates Super Magic each time she deals damage. When she's fully charged, her next Basic Attack becomes guided, dealing 80 (+100% Total Physical Attack) (+120% Total Magic Power) Magic Damage on hit and restoring 80 (+Guinevere's 8% Lost HP) HP. Enemies hit by Guinevere's enhanced Basic Attack, Energy Wave, or Spatial Migration are marked for 5 seconds. Those with 3 marks will be knocked airborne when hit by her Violet Requiem. Skill terms Magic Basic Attack Deal Magic DMG to enemies. It can trigger ATK Effect and Magic Lifesteal. Regen Effect Attribute that affects the actual HP Regen and Shield. The default ratio is 100%. Actual HP Regen/Shield = Original HP Regen/Shield × (100% + All Regen Effects Increase% - All Regen Effects Decrease%).

• Damage increase only applies to Guinevere's skills and basic attack.
• Guinevere accumulates 20 Super Magic from basic attacks.
• Applying marks is not affected by  Golden Staff Unique Passive - Endless Strike. (see Patch Notes 1.6.66)
• The enhanced basic attack will slightly knock back enemies if they're airborne.
• Unlike Selena, all enemies hit by Guinever's basic attack are dealt magic damage.
• Magic lifesteal on Guinevere's basic attack seems to not be reduced.

Skill 1

Energy Wave Damage Buff Guinevere releases an energy orb in the target direction, dealing 300–525 (+130% Total Magic Power) Magic Damage to the first enemy hit and slowing them by 50% for 1.2 seconds. Successfully hitting an enemy reduces all her skill cooldowns by 1 second. Skill terms Magic Skill Deal Magic DMG to enemies. Triggers Spell Vamp. Movement Speed Movement Speed on the battlefield. Usually Calculated and Actual Movement Speed is equal. But when Movement Speed is below 230 or over 420 both Slowdown and Speedup Effect will decay. Calculated Movement Speed = Basic Movement Speed × (100% + All Speedup Effect% - All Slowdown Effect%). CD The time needed for casting the skill one more time, which can be affected by CD Reduction (unless otherwise stated).

Skill 2

Spatial Migration Mobility CC Guinevere thumps at the target location for 250–400 (+80% Total Magic Power) Magic Damage[, slowing enemies within it by 50% for 1 second]. Enemy heroes and creeps hit will be knocked airborne for 1 second and take 125–200 (+50% Total Magic Power) additional Magic Damage. After cast, Guinevere can reactivate the skill in 5 seconds to blink toward the target direction [while invisible for 0.5 seconds] and leave an illusion behind. If the illusion takes damage, it restores Super Magic for Guinevere and will explode in 1.5 seconds, dealing 100 (+30% Total Magic Power) Magic Damage to nearby enemies. Skill terms Airborne High level Crowd Control: Prevents a target from moving, and using Basic Attacks and skills. Can interrupt a large number of skills, and Blink/Charge effects. Magic Skill Deal Magic DMG to enemies. Triggers Spell Vamp. Blink Movement ability that can pass through obstacles.

Violet Requiem Burst CC Where to find my bosom friend? Guinevere creates a force field around her [for 2 seconds], attacking nearby enemies 11 times within 2 seconds, dealing 650–910 (+500% Total Magic Power) Magic Damage in total. If the enemy hit is already airborne, they will be knocked airborne again, up to 6 additional times. Guinevere is immune to crowd control while casting this skill. Skill terms Airborne High level Crowd Control: Prevents a target from moving, and using Basic Attacks and skills. Can interrupt a large number of skills, and Blink/Charge effects. Control Immunity You are immune to enemy CC effects (Suppressed excluded) within the duration. Magic Skill Deal Magic DMG to enemies. Triggers Spell Vamp.

Trivia

• Originally, in the tales of Arthur, the character Guinevere is supposedly the wife of King Arthur and had an illicit affair with one of his knights, Lancelot. However, in the game, they are siblings.
• Guinevere's "Fleur de Bleau" means "Blue Flower" in French.
• According to both  War Axe and Orange Buff effects, they identified Guinevere as a mage.
• According to one of the VFX Artists who worked on Guinevere's KOF Skill effects, her Spatial Migration originally had a trail when she dashes, however; it was scrapped because it would destroy the style of the King of Fighters franchise and it didn't really fit Athena's character.^{[citation needed]}
