- Glowing Wand is the best item suited for fighting Tanks and Fighters.
- It is also good against heroes with high healing, shield, or lifesteal abilities.
- It is suitable for Magic heroes who can deal multiple attacks in a short period of time but each attack has low amount of damage.

- The icon of Flames of Fury is a Guy Fawkes mask, which is generally worn by the hacker members of the Anonymous group. it could also be a reference to the gunpowder plot of November fifth of 1605 , which lead to bonfire night in the Uk.[1]
