A genius ninja of the Shadow Sect in the Scarlet Shadow. In order to pursue great power, he absorbed the "Hanekage" into his body, and used the enemy's flesh and blood to provide nourishment for the "Hanekage". After gaining power, he took away the most powerful supreme ninjutsu and Ame no Habakiri in the Scarlet Shadow, and went further and further on the road of killing.

Lore

Long ago, the House of Akakage was hailed as the Gods of Ninja Arts. For generations, the Akakages researched and taught advanced ninjutsu. In order to achieve the pinnacle of ninja arts, the Akakages used forbidden ninjutsu to rid their hearts of evil, anger, and greed by condensing them into a demon called, Hanekage. No one expected that Hanekage would have consciousness despite lurking within their bodies.

When the legendary One Hundred Ghosts attacked the House of Akakage, the demon within them merged the ghosts to become a single entity. Thus began a bloody feud between the Akakage and the powerful demon. Hanekage. At a grave cost, the Akakage used the ninjutsu, Blood Shadow, to temporarily seal the demon. In order to permanently seal Hanekage, the Akakages used their sacred tools to create a legendary sword, known as Ame no Habakiri. Not long after, the forefathers of the Akakage perished from the world. Their grieving disciples hid Ame no Habakiri in an unknown place that the only members of the Akakage family could reach. Little did the Akakage know, the cunning Goddess of Death, Izanami, observed these events and secretly inserted a part of her soul in one of their progeny to one day resurrect Hanekage.

After many generations, the House of Akakage was divided into the Crimson and Shadow factions. The Shadow Faction gave birth to the strongest Akakage the clan has ever seen — Hanzo. As one would expect, Hanzo became the head of the Shadow Faction.

However, one day, Hanzo's team discovered his secret. All this time, Hanzo secretly fused Hanekage's power with his own body, feeding the demon with blood of his enemies. When confronted by the Akakage's Crimson Faction, Hanzo killed them all in cold blood. Absorbing the blood of such powerful people, Hanekage regained consciousness once again.

Hanekage told Hanzo that his noble clan hid the powerful Ame no Habakiri, as well as sacred ninjutsu, in a secret location only the Akakage could reach. The power-hungry Hanzo abused his blood right to acquire the forbidden ninjutsu and the fabled sword, Ame no Habakiri. The remaining members of the Akakage furiously chased after the clan's traitor.

Emboldened by the power of the Hanekage, Hanzo used his own clan's sword against them and tore the powerful energy from their flesh. Desperate, the two Akakage factions came together once again to take on Hanzo as one. Heavily wounded, the final members of the noble House of Akakage could only watch Hanzo escape.

Hanzo secretly takes refuge recovers from his injuries. Night and day, Hanzo practiced the Akakage's forbidden ninjutsu with Ame no Habakiri. After a decade, Hanzo could not achieve the pinnacle of ninjutsu like his forefathers. Hanekage consumed the flesh and blood of fallen ninjas and transformed into a magical armor for Hanzo. Hanekage struck a deal with Hanzo. In exchange for feeding Hanekage more blood, the powerful demon will help Hanzo reach the pinnacle of ninjutsu. Possessing the ability to reach the pinnacle of ninjutsu and the Ame no Habakiri, Hanzo brought blood bathe to the world.

Ninjutsu: Demon Feast Damage Ninja's trial. Every 5 basic attacks by Hanzo temporarily unlocks this ability for 6.5 seconds. Hanzo uses Ame no Habakiri to devour a target and digest them over a period of time. By doing so Hanzo gets 10–20 Demon Blood. (Can only be used against Minions and Creeps. Targeting Lord or Turtle deals 500–1500 True Damage. Skill terms True Damage Skill Deal True Damage to enemies. Triggers Spell Vamp. True Damage If there is no way to reduce damage taken, you can try increasing Max HP.

Ninjutsu: Demon Thorn Damage Ninja's trial. Every 5 basic attacks by Hanzo temporarily unlocks this ability for 6.5 seconds. Hanzo burrows underground and lunges forward to attack enemies in a line, dealing 300–550 (+60% Total Physical Attack) (+target's 15%–25% Total HP) Physical Damage, knocking them airborne[duration needed] and gaining 10 Demon Blood. Ninjutsu: Soul Reap Damage Buff Hanzo summons demonic spikes at the target location, dealing 160–360 (+60% Total Physical Attack) immediate Physical Damage. If an enemy is hit, the skill will strike again after 0.5 seconds, dealing 40–90 (+15% Total Physical Attack) Physical Damage to targets in the area and slowing them by 40% until no target is hit or dealing additional damage for 8 times. Every unit hit grants him 1 Demon Blood. Skill terms Physical Damage Skill Deal Physical DMG to enemies. Triggers Spell Vamp. Movement Speed Movement Speed on the battlefield. Usually Calculated and Actual Movement Speed is equal. But when Movement Speed is below 230 or over 420 both Slowdown and Speedup Effect will decay. Calculated Movement Speed = Basic Movement Speed × (100% + All Speedup Effect% - All Slowdown Effect%).

Ninjutsu: Devastator Damage Buff Hanzo flies to the target location as the demon Hanekage, dealing 80–180 (+50% Total Physical Attack) Physical Damage to enemies in the area. (This attack can trigger Attack Effects). If this skill hits an enemy, the skill will repeat itself after 0.3 seconds, until no target is hit or when it has bean cast 8 times. Hitting an enemy unit unlocks one seal of Ninjutsu: Demon Thorn. Moving, attacking or recasting this skill will terminate the process immediately. Skill terms Physical Basic Attack Deal Physical Damage to enemies. Triggers ATK Effects and Lifesteal. Attack Effect Both Physical and Magic Basic Attacks can trigger Attack Effects Attack Effects include the "Devour" effect of the Demon Hunter Sword equipment, the 'Weakness Finder" Talent effect, etc.

Ultimate

Kinjutsu: Pinnacle Ninja Morph Mobility Hanzo gains 25–35 Demon Blood and sends out the demon Hanekage in the target direction while gaining a new set of skills. Hanekage consumes 10 Demon Blood every second while he is out. Hanzo's body will be slowly pulled to Hanekage'location as Demon Blood depletes. Hanekage can move through terrain and gains 35% Movement Speed and 30%–50% Attack Speed, but his Physical & Magic Defense are reduced by 50.0%–35.0%. If Hanekage is killed, he will be drawn back to Hanzo's body, stunning Hanzo for 3 seconds and weakening him for 8 seconds (slowing him by 55%, reducing his Physical and Magic Defense by 100% and revealing his location to the enemies). If Hanzo's body is killed, he will die immediately and Hanekage wil disappear. Use Again: Hanekage returns to Hanzo's body immediately (the additional skill button will summon Hanzo's body to Hanekage instead). Skill terms Block Immunity Your movement can’t be blocked within the duration. Movement Speed Movement Speed on the battlefield. Usually Calculated and Actual Movement Speed is equal. But when Movement Speed is below 230 or over 420 both Slowdown and Speedup Effect will decay. Calculated Movement Speed = Basic Movement Speed × (100% + All Speedup Effect% - All Slowdown Effect%). Attack Speed Current Attack Speed = Base Attack Speed + Extra Attack Speed × Attack Speed Ratio. The current total Attack Speed determines the number of attacks per second (capped at 3 attacks per second).
