• He is one of the heroes who doesn't walk, but rather crawls.
• If you look closely at Helcurt's portrait, you can notice his white, cat-like pupils.
• He is heavily inspired by Alma from Magic Rush, another game developed by Moonton.

Gameplay

• Helcurt's  ultimate one of the only global skills in the game.
  • The only other skills with universal/global range (covering anywhere on the map) are Moskov's  Spear of Destruction, Johnson's  Rapid Touchdown, Angela's  Heartguard, Yi Sun-shin's  Mountain Shocker and Aldous'  Contract: Chase Fate.
• He is one of the only heroes who has the capability to silence enemies. The only other hero is Natalia, before Helcurt was got the nerf in 2 Patch Notes:
  • Patch 1.5.08: Silence in  Passive only can triggered when enemies affected by the CC skills effects.
  • Patch 1.5.32: Silence in  1st skill only during his  Ultimate in active; Using  1st skill without  Ultimate, Silence effect was removed and replaced to Slow effect.
• He is the only hero who has an unique skill mechanic where basic attacks stack to make an enhanced skill.

Lore

• Helcurt is of an ancient species which sacrificed their own souls to the Shadow Abyss in order to gain dark power.
  • The dark elves, too, sacrificed to the Shadow Abyss in exchange for power. (See  Selena story page)
• Helcurt is one of the only heroes in the game who turned themselves evil, along with Argus, Moskov (indeliberately), and Hanzo.

Quotes

• Helcurt's  ultimate quote could previously be heard by enemies. This has since been removed due all players to be scared.

Development

• He is the heroes are only got nerfed in Patch 1.5.32, which are removing from Silence 1.5s to replaced with Slow 1.5s in  1st skill (without  ultimate) to making Silence effect only during  ultimate in active when using  1st skill.
  • The other heroes also got nerfed are Atlas in  2nd skill (using  ultimate in Ejected State).

Skins

• Along with Ruby's Edelweiss, her Icy Scythe skin was one of the Season Pass skins.
• Helcurt is the twelfth and the last hero to receive "Zodiac" type skins (Scorpio).
  • The only other heroes are:  Irithel (Sagittarius),  Martis (Capricorn),  Aurora (Aquarius),  Lancelot (Pisces),  Hilda (Aries),  Minotaur (Taurus),  Selena (Gemini - Shadow), Karina (Gemini - Halo),  Zhask (Cancer),  Badang (Leo),  Odette (Virgo) and  Lunox (Libra).
