Ice Retribution
Unique Active - Retribution's damage against creeps and minions is increased to 150%. When cast on an enemy hero, deals them 100 True Damage and steals 72-100 Movement Speed (scales with level) from them for 4 seconds. Retribution is upgraded when the total number of creep kills, hero kills, and assists reaches 5.

Mechanics

• Fully stacks multiplicatively with other sources of slow.

Tips

• Since the slow is a net value and also provides you movement speed, it is recommended to cast it first, or if you want to reserve other slow abilities later.

• Ice Retribution is recommended for junglers with already very high damage output and sustainability but lacks crowd control.

• Heroes who already have a lot of slow can use it to continuously limit enemy's ability to escape, as enemies tend not to purchase  Rapid Boots or cast Purify:
  • eg. Alpha, Dyrroth, Lunox

• If you run into a duel with enemy jungler who is also equipped with Ice Retribution, it is advised to cast after them, as it will remove their effect on you, allow to flee or pursue.

• If enemy only has one dash ability or Flicker, this battle spell is more effective to limit them to your range.

Counter

• The slow effect can be reduced by  Rapid Boots, removed by Purify, or immune by Sprint or abilities that provide Slow Immunity such as Zilong's Supreme Warrior or Cecilion's Bats Feast.
