A jungle orphan raised by a smilodon, was rescued by Leonin Nana when she was almost caught by a human slave trader. With the help of Nana, she learned the human language and fighting skills, but she still didn't trust humans and only trusted her friend, a little tiger named Leo.

Lore

Irithel was abandoned in the jungle by her parents when she was a little girl. Under the guidance of the God of Jungle, a female smilodon that had just given birth adopted her. Being protected by the mother smilodon, the little smilodon Leo and Irithel learned to hunt, survive, and grew up like an animal. During a territory fight, the mother smilodon was badly injured. When Irithel and her "brother" Leo went to a town for help, they were captured as "smilodon children" by a slaveholder. When the cat elf mage - Nana - passed by and couldn't watch them get beaten to death, she suddenly had the super power inside her that allowed her to save these two poor children. With the help of Nana, Irithel was able to understand human languages and combat skills while Leo grew up to become a strong adult smilodon. But Irithel still hates humans and trusts her only friend - Leo.

Jungle Heart Buff Irithel and Leo's immaculate teamwork allows her to shoot while moving. Each Basic Attack will shoot 2 crossbow bolt(s) (but takes longer to refill) that deal (+55% Total Physical Attack) Physical Damage per bolt (inherits a portion [55%] of Attack Effects). Moving will build up Jungle Heart, up to a maximum of 10 units, and cause the next Basic Attack to unleash 1 additional bolt(s). Skill terms Physical Basic Attack Deal Physical Damage to enemies. Triggers ATK Effects and Lifesteal. Attack Effect Both Physical and Magic Basic Attacks can trigger Attack Effects Attack Effects include the "Devour" effect of the Demon Hunter Sword equipment, the 'Weakness Finder" Talent effect, etc.

Strafe AOE Debuff Irithel launches a volley of arrows on the target area, dealing 330–530 (+60% Total Physical Attack) Physical Damage to enemies within and reducing their Physical Defense by 15–40 for 3 seconds. Skill terms Physical Damage Skill Deal Physical DMG to enemies. Triggers Spell Vamp. Physical Defense Deduction of Physical Damage taken. Physical Defense will be affected by the enemy’s Physical PEN but not lower than 0. Actual Physical Damage taken = Physical Damage dealt by enemy 120/(120 + Physical Defense). Physical Defense will be affected by the enemy's Physical PEN, but will not be lower than -60.

Force of the Queen Slow AOE Leo lets out a piercing roar, dealing 200–350 (+60% Total Physical Attack) Physical Damage to nearby enemies and slowing them by 40% for 2 seconds. Skill terms Physical Damage Skill Deal Physical DMG to enemies. Triggers Spell Vamp. Movement Speed Movement Speed on the battlefield. Usually Calculated and Actual Movement Speed is equal. But when Movement Speed is below 230 or over 420 both Slowdown and Speedup Effect will decay. Calculated Movement Speed = Basic Movement Speed × (100% + All Speedup Effect% - All Slowdown Effect%).

Heavy Crossbow Buff Mobility No arrow is shot in vain. Irithel order Leo to leap in the target direction and empowers her crossbow for 10 seconds. For the duration, she gains 30 extra Movement Speed and her Basic Attacks shoot enhanced crossbow bolts, dealing 120 (+60–80% Total Physical Attack) Physical Damage to the target and nearby units. Jungle Heart also accumulates faster for the duration.[amount unknown] Skill terms Physical Basic Attack Deal Physical Damage to enemies. Triggers ATK Effects and Lifesteal. • Irithel is the first rider heroes.
• Irithel referred Leo as a "tiger" in one of her quotes, but he is biologically a smilodon.
• Irithel is the first among the only heroes who can  Basic Attack while moving.
• Irithel is the only ranged hero with an explosive Basic Attack, where the damage of her Basic Attack during  Heavy Crossbow can hit multiple enemies in a small AoE at once.
• When her "Night Arrow" skin was released, Leo's appearance closely resembled Toothless from How To Train Your Dragon; it was later changed to have a more feline look, likely to avoid copyright issues.
