Born into a traditional military family in the Moniyan Empire, she received military education from an early age, so she was a little boyish. At the same time, Kimmy is not bound by tradition. She is obsessed with technology and inventions In order to prove herself to her father, Kimmy picks up her invention and joined the Imperial Expeditionary Army.
Aim for the Sky[]
If you were to ask Kimmy about her most vivid childhood memory, she would tell you without hesitation - it was the weight of the medals adorning her father's military uniform. Born into a military family, the young girl secretly vowed to become an even greater soldier than her father.
But when she enthusiastically shared her dream with him, his usual gentle demeanor turned stern as he rejected her aspirations. Putting his calloused hand
over her little head, he said, "I want my daughter to have a peaceful, carefree life."
Though her wings were confined within the cage her father built, Kimmy never abandoned her dreams of soaring. She read military books in secret, looked through her family's military records, and even after being sent to Eruditio for schooling, she never stopped dreaming.
Perhaps Kimmy's most carefree and joyful days were spent in Eruditio. She cut her hair short and made many friends, and one in particular, Beatrix, became her closest companion. The two were drawn together by the fierce determination they shared. Kimmy helped Beatrix test various weapons - no matter how complex their design or intricate their controls, she always seemed to bring out their true potential.
"Why not just go for it? Enlist first and tell him later!" Kimmy's heart raced at
Beatrix's suggestion. As their fists bumped together, their rebellious alliance was officially sealed.
Kimmy packed up and left Eruditio to join the Moniyan Empire's Western Border Guard. The closer she got to the military outpost, the more desolate the surroundings became, but her heart had
never felt more fulfilled. She stretched her hand upward, as though she could grasp the sky itself.
Kimmy's early days in the Border Guard were anything but easy. Her time spent in Eruditio and her young age led many of the hardened soldiers to dismiss her as a privileged girl who was just looking for some cheap thrills. She paid their gossip no mind, instead throwing herself into her training, using her pent-up ambition as fuel for her fire, and the results showed; she came first in the Imperial Joint Tactical Exercise and demonstrated extraordinary talent in both marksmanship and close- quarters combat. Her achievements finally silenced the rumors and naysayers. Many began to see Kimmy in a new light, and some were even inspired to train harder.
It was then that the Weapons Department invented a new weapon - a Starlium- powered jetpack and rifle. However, its complex operation was too much for most of the testers, yet Kimmy's talent and experience allowed her to master it almost immediately. The weapon found its full potential in her hands, shocking even the researchers. The flashes of the muzzle illuminated Kimmy's path forward - the Hoverjet Blaster became her weapon, and together they would shine in battle.
Kimmy paid no mind to others' cold stares, focusing solely on her own efforts. The fledging had shed her down and was ready to spread her wings and soar. Yet... thoughts of her father still filled her with doubt.
Soon after, Kimmy was assigned to an elite squad, deploying her weapon into battle for the first time on an important rescue mission. The enemy, highly mobile and intimate with the terrain, had the upper hand. Though it was Kimmy's first real combat mission, she remained remarkably calm. She quickly identified the enemy's movement patterns, tracked them to a small outpost, and launched a successful first strike on her own.
Before the thrill of victory could fade, the full scope of the enemy's operations was revealed: they had kidnapped military
researchers to force them to create new weapons. Worse still, they had already used stolen weapons to ambush the front- line troops, causing heavy casualties. With no time to call for backup, Kimmy disguised herself with the enemy's attire and infiltrated their stronghold, quickly locating the holding cells.
Behind iron bars were over a dozen imprisoned allies. Kimmy acted decisively, blasting open the prison doors with her rifle. The sound alerted her comrades waiting to launch their attack outside. With their coordinated assault from both inside and out, chaos erupted in the enemy stronghold, leading to their quick defeat.
As Kimmy evacuated the prisoners, an older officer, slowed due to his injuries, caught her attention. Those familiar shoulders, that crew cut of gray hair - it was her father. The usually fearless Kimmy felt her confidence waver. She had never told her strict father about enlisting. As their eyes met, Kimmy braced for the worst. However, after a moment's pause, he simply gave her a formal military salute pretending not to recognize his masked daughter. His voice was no longer as deep as she remembered, and his injured stature seemed smaller than she remembered. He advised the "new recruit" to make something of herself in the military. Kimmy shouldered her weapon and nodded solemnly while trying to keep her voice from trembling.
New missions awaited on the horizon. Kimmy looked to the sky, knowing that her wings now carried her father's
expectations. She was bound for even greater heights.

Aerial Dominance Damage Kimmy can move and aim in different directions when using her Spray Gun, but cannot lock on to a specific enemy. Kimmy's Spray Gun attack deals (+22%% Total Physical Attack) (+27%% Total Magic Power) Magic Damage. Hitting enemy heroes/non-hero units restores 6/3 Starlium. At max Starlium, Kimmy's Basic Attacks are enhanced to deal (+27%% Total Physical Attack) (+32%% Total Magic Power) damage and pierce through targets. Kimmy doesn't stop moving while shooting and no longer benefits from Attack Speed Bonus. Every 1% Attack Speed she gains is converted to 1 Magic Power. |

Anti-Grav Thruster Speed Up Buff | Spell Vamp Ratio: 50% Kimmy uses her jetpack to take flight, removing and becoming immune to Slow Effects. She can pass through terrain and gains 90% Movement Speed for 1 second. During the flight, she fires 4 Chemical Bolts at nearby enemies, each dealing 20 (+25%% Total Physical Attack) (+30%% Total Magic Power) Magic Damage and slowing them by 50% for 0.5 seconds. |

Traction Pulse AOE CC | Spell Vamp Ratio: 50% Kimmy charges and fires a Traction Pulse in a target direction. Upon hitting an enemy or reaching its max range, it explodes to deal 200 (+60%% Total Physical Attack) (+72%% Total Magic Power) Magic Damage to nearby enemies and creates a force field that slows enemies within by 75%. - Kimmy is the first hero and currently the only hero to be a Marksman/Mage type.
- She is the third hero in the game who can convert a stat (Attack Speed) to another stat (Movement Speed).
- When switching Hero Voice to Japanese, instead of saying "Fighting 'Kimmy!", she says "Fighting Jimmy! (ファイティング・ジミー! - Faitingu Jimī!)" in Entrance Quotes.
- While still in development Kimmy's first given name and hero title was Mary the Ink Queen
- The name can be a reference to Marie which is an Inkling/Squid from Splatoon by Nintendo.
- Kimmy is one of the heroes to have received a rework before she was even released on the original server.
- Her basic attack used to spread and pierce through enemies similar to how shotgun pellets works.
- She used to have 2 skill sources: one for her first skill and one for her second skill.
- Her second skill used to be another basic attack buff skill similar to her first skill, but was later changed into a blink skill that does not consume any energy.
- Before her reworked on Patch Notes 1.6.10, Kimmy has a Mixed Damage alongside with
Esmeralda, then it was later replaced with Magic Damage specialty will making Esmeralda is the only hero who specializes in Mixed Damage. - The melody she says when picked with Dragon Tamer skin is a parody on Hush Little Baby Don't Say A Word by the King's Singers 1987.
