Land of Dawn is a magical world with various natural conditions and many unique places. Among them, lies in the south of Agelta, hidden in thick mist, there is a remote island, called Baker Island. There, stands a huge laboratory founded by two professional scientists, Dr. Rooney and his comrade, Dr. Baker.

They had purpose to bringing peace for the future by invented new technology and experimentalize artificial creature to help human race. Even beyond that, with the other scientists, the most important and arduous mission was human augmentation. Those who got severely injured body will be replaced with mechanical body part. Lead by this such mission, the scientists wished they would have another chance to live their life, even they could become an advanced human with their new android body.

Not long after, the story about the Lab were heard by scientists from all around the Land of Dawn. They gathered and dedicated their energy and mind to create unique technology. Day after day, invention after invention has been experimented. Eventually, all their efforts are not in vein. They succeed combined a human and robot into one creature, a cyborg. More surprisingly, Dr. Baker successful to created mechanical creature. It was just like human beings, made from steel skeleton and puppet strings and it has pretty synthetic face. He called it an angel, then gave it a name – Angela.

Unfortunately, Dr. Rooney happiness didn't last long as there was rumor about a number of scientists like Professor Giraad and Dr. Octavius started their evil purpose: to create killer warrior by combining human and weapon, makes them as tools to kill whoever dares to stood against them. The rumor eventually heard by Dr. Rooney. Thus, he decided to disbanded the organization and closed the Lab before it got worse and spread across the Land of Dawn. It was a hard decision since the Lab was important for human kind prosperous.

Of course, not all scientists agreed with Dr. Rooney’s decision, especially those evil scientists. They had intentions to stab Dr. Rooney in the back and take over the lab. These mad scientists started to abducted ordinary men, even children and forced them to become guinea pigs, even though they didn’t have any scratch on their body. However, some people intentionally came to this place just to seek more power without knowing the consequences. One of them was Saber. He was obsessed to become an invincible swordsman, until one day he realized there was something not right with him.

The laboratory that was previously established with the goal of the welfare of mankind was now became a hell for those who were reborn as mechanical humans. All those despicable scientists would keep experimenting and dedicating their lives to the laboratory for the reason of a better world. Will those madness cease? Or it will continue?
