Lifesteal is an attribute that restores health equal to a percentage when dealing damage through basic attacks. Its skill counterpart is Spell Vamp.
It was added in Patch 1.7.94, when Physical lifesteal and Magic lifesteal were unified into Lifesteal.
Characteristics of Lifesteal[]
Lifesteal starts at 0%, but is increased by emblems, equipment, or hero skills.
Lifesteal is limited to basic attacks, but applies to any type of damage.
Lifesteal's healing is multiplied by a unit's healing received but not by its healing effect.
