- It is best paired with
Arcane Boots, Blood Wings, Divine Glaive, Genius Wand and Holy Crystal to increase the amount of magic power and magic penetration since Resonate requires a considerable amount of magic power to be effective. - Resonate can be a great help for triggering Lethal Ignition.

- Prior to Patch 1.8.30, Cecilion was the only hero that could maximize Lightning Truncheon's unique passive even without building any mana-based items thanks to his passive.
- Lightning Truncheon and Thunder Belt are canonically related to Eudora, The Lightning Weaver, and both share the same stories.
- In the earliest versions of the game when Lightning Truncheon was added for the first time, Unique Passive - Resonate damage used to scale with 150% Magic Power before it changed to mana. Several Years later, on 07/November/2023 it finally changed back to Magic Power again. Current Magic Power scaling is 120%.
