Magic lifesteal was an attribute that restores health equal to a percentage when dealing magic damage.
Since Patch 1.7.94 went live on June 26 2023, both physical lifesteal and magic lifesteal were removed and succeeded by the lifesteal attribute.
Characteristics of magic lifesteal[]
Magic lifesteal starts at 0%, but is increased by emblems, equipment, or hero skills.
Unlike physical lifesteal, magic lifesteal was not limited to basic attacks, but instead applies to any source of damage that deals magic damage.
Magic lifesteal and spell vamp were both applied to magic skills while dealing magic damage.
Magic lifesteal's healing is multiplied by a unit's healing received but not by its healing effect.
Some magic skills benefit from 30% to 100% magic lifesteal for gameplay balance because the more the skill hits opponents, the less it benefits from magic lifesteal.
