An update for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang has been released on the Advanced Server.

From The Designers - A New patch focuses on the Brawl Mode Balancing

It has been several months since the last Brawl adjustment. During this period, we have been testing the Magic Chess and another upcoming new mode and have accumulated some effective experience on mode balancing. Although the experience is still not mature enough, we have decided to apply what we have learned in these months to the oldest arcade mode in MLBB -- Brawl Mode.

In the past, we thought the balance performance should be almost the same in Braw Mode and the common modes, so players didn't have to learn how to play Brawl Mode.
But now, we have found some new balancing methods which can make most of the heroes more balanced in different modes.
When we apply these methods to Brawl Mode, what we hope is not to purely change the order on hero tier list but to narrow the gap between the upper heroes and the bottom heroes. Odette Odette and Estes Estes are still powerful, but you can find a way to deal with them now other than dodging!
We hope Braw players can learn something useful after reading this patch note.

I. New/Revamp Hero

New Hero

The Lone Star - Brody

A ranged shooter launching heavy attacks on enemies.

  • Passive: Abyss Corrosion.png Abyss Corrosion - Brody is able to move while channeling, at the cost of having longer channeling time and lower Attack Speed bonus. Each Basic Attack slows the enemy and inflicts 1 stack of Abyss Mark on the enemy, capped at 5 stacks. Each stack of Abyss Mark increases Brody's Critical Chance against the target. If Brody's Basic Attack is critical, he gains extra Movement Speed for 0.8s.
  • Skill 1: Abyss Impact.png Abyss Impact - Brody launches a shock wave in the designated direction, dealing damage and inflicting Abyss Mark on enemies hit. As the shock wave travels, for each enemy it hits, it deals extra damage and applies additional stacks of Abyss Mark.
  • Skill 2: Corrosive Strike.png Corrosive Strike - Brody dashes to an enemy, dealing damage, stunning the enemy, and inflicting Abyss Mark on the enemy. Upon hitting the target, he is able to move one more time in the movement direction.
  • Ultimate: Torn-Apart Memory.png Torn-Apart Memory - Brody locks on all the targets within 7 yards, dealing damage to the target according to the stack number of Abyss Mark the target has. All Abyss Marks on the target will be reset.

Dino Rider - Barats

The Desert King who can absorb energy and become bigger.

  • Passive: Big Guy.png Big Guy - Detona and Barats are partners. Each time Detona deals damage with his skills, he absorbs energy and enhances himself, gaining 1 stack of [Robust] for a period of time which increases his size and attributes. Each time Detona deals damage to a target, he inflicts 1 stack of [Feast] to the target. When [Feast] reaches 4 stacks, Detona will gnaw the target upon the next Basic Attack, dealing [Physical Damage] according to his Max HP and restoring HP. When [Robust] surpasses 10 stacks. Detona will [trample] the target with his Basic Attack. Each Basic Attack inflicts 2 stacks of [Feast] on the target.
  • Skill 1: So-Called Teamwork.png So-Called Teamwork - Detona spits contaminated oil in the fan-shaped area in front, dealing damage to enemies within the area and slowing them. Meanwhile, Barats drops the firecracker onto the contaminated oil from his bag and ignites it, dealing damage to enemies within the area. The area of effect of [So-Called Teamwork] will increase when [Robust] reaches 6, 11, 16, 21 stacks.
  • Skill 2. Missile Expert.png Missile Expert - Barats launches a missile to the designated area. Upon landing, a blast of flame spout out from the rear of the missile, dealing damage to the enemies in a straight line and pushing them away a certain distance.
  • Ultimate: Detona's Welcome.png Detona's Welcome - Detona roars skyward and generates a forcefield around himself. Enemies that come in contact with the edge of the forcefield take damage and are stunned. Enemies in the forcefield take damage continuously and are slowed.

Revamp Hero

Lapu-Lapu Lapu-Lapu, Courageous Blade

From the designers:
Having two stances of Twin-Blade and Heavy-Sword and the corresponding personalized mechanisms is the main characteristic of Revamped Lapu-Lapu. In the battle, players can choose either to play ranged with the twin blades or play melee with the heavy sword according to the actual condition. In this revamp, we have preserved the main mechanism of Lapu-Lapu - swapping weapons and redesigned his skills, in order to make this old hero more distinguishable between his two instances and more playable in the battle.
Hero Feature: A free warrior who has two instances and can swap between two weapons.

  • Passive: Hero's Faith.png Hero's Faith
    • Lapu-Lapu gains Energy from Passive now instead of Bravery Blessing stacks. The Energy will increase automatically every second. Lapu-Lapu gains Energy from hitting enemies with his skills. When his Energy is full, his next Basic Attack or [Justice Blade] will be enhanced. The next enhanced Basic Attack will grant him a shield and cause him to dash toward the target, dealing extra damage. The next enhanced [Justice Blade] will apply a slow effect and grant him a shield.
  • Skill 1: Justice Blade.png Justice Blade
    • In Twin-Blade stance. Lapu-Lapu releases two boomerangs in the designated direction. Each boomerang deals damage to enemies hit on its way out or back.
    • In Heavy-Sword stance, Lapu-Lapu slashes forward with his heavy sword, dealing damage to enemies hit and stun them.
  • Skill 2: Brave Stance.png Brave Stance
    • In Twin-Blade stance, Lapu-Lapu slashes his twin blades and charges in a designated direction.
    • In Heavy-Sword stance, Lapu-Lapu whirls his twin blades, dealing damage to nearby enemies. For each hero hit, he gains a certain amount of damage reduction.
  • Ultimate: Chieftain's Rage.png Chieftain's Rage
    • In Twin-Blade stance, Lapu-Lapu releases Chieftain's Rage, leaps up, combines his twin blades into one heavy sword, and slashes in a designated area, dealing a great amount of damage. He then enters the Heavy-Sword stance with all his skills enhanced for 15s.
    • In Heavy-Sword stance. Lapu-Lapu releases three heavy slashes with his heavy sword forward. Each slash deals a great amount of damage. Right after each slash, he is able to move a certain distance toward a designated direction.

Spacetime Swordmaster → Wandering Sword - Saber Saber

  • Skill 1 Flying Sword.png Flying Sword: Saber shoots out 5 flying swords, dealing damage to enemies. Spinning swords will circle around Saber for a while and then fly back to him. In this duration, damage dealt by Saber will cause spinning swords to pierce through the target, dealing damage to all targets on the path.
  • Skill 2 Charge.png Charge: Saber charges towards a designated direction, dealing physical damage to all enemies on the path. Saber enhances the next Basic Attack when charge ends, dealing damage, and slowing the target.
  • Ultimate Triple Sweep.png Triple Sweep: Saber attacks an enemy hero, knocking the target airborne, and then dealing 3 blows continuously. Each blow deals physical damage

  • Passive Moon Blessing.png Moon Blessing: Each time Miya hits a target with her Basic Attack, her Attack Speed will be increased. This effect caps at 5 stacks. After reaching full stacks, each Basic Attack Miya does summons Moonlight Shadow to aid her once.

Brawl Mode

[From The Designers] -- A new patch focuses on the Brawl Mode balancing
It has been several months since the last Brawl adjustment. During this period, we have been testing the Magic Chess and another upcoming new mode and have accumulated some effective experience on mode balancing. In the past, we thought the balance performance should be almost the same in Brawl Mode and the common modes, so players didn't have to learn how to play Brawl Mode.

We hope Brawl players can learn something useful after reading this patch note.
