Attribute Guide

Name Description
Health Points (HP) The number of health of a hero, can be increased by buying items. The hero dies once the number reaches zero.
Mana Points (MP) An attribute of a hero that indicates their power to cast skill ability.
Physical Attack An amount that increases the physical damage of skills using its skill coefficient.
Magic Power An amount that increases the magic damage of skills using its skill coefficient.
Physical Damage A type of damage that triggers Physical Lifesteal, Physical Penetration, and Critical Chance.
Magic Damage A type of damage that triggers Magic Lifesteal, Magic Penetration, and Critical Chance.
True Damage A type of damage that ignores both Physical and Magic DEF. Also dealt by Legend creeps.
Physical Lifesteal An amount that is calculated with the Physical Damage of Basic Attacks you deal, which restores an amount of your HP.
Magic Lifesteal An amount that is calculated with the Magic Damage you deal, which restores an amount of your HP.
Spell Vamp An amount that is calculated with the Skill Damage you deal, which restores an amount of your HP.
Physical Defense (DEF) An amount that is calculated to the Physical Damage that enemies deal that nullifies an amount of the damage they deal.
Magic Defense (DEF) An amount that is calculated to the Magic Damage that enemies deal that nullifies an amount of the damage they deal.
Physical Penetration (PEN) An amount that is calculated to the Physical Damage you deal that ignores a portion of enemies physical defense.
Magic Penetration (PEN) An amount that is calculated to the Physical Damage you deal that ignores a portion of enemies physical defense.
Mana Regeneration (Regen) An amount of mana that is restored each second.
HP Regeneration (Regen) An amount of HP that is restored each second.
Critical (Crit) Chance A chance for basic attacks to deal higher damage.
Movement Speed The amount of speed one hero has.
Cooldown (CD) Reduction An amount reduced of a Skill's CD. Up to 40%. If Enchanted Talisman.png Enchanted Talisman is in the build, the max CD reduction will become 45%.
Duration Lasting time of a state, skill, or channeling.
Physical Bonus The ratio of skills affected by Physical Attack.
Magic Bonus The ratio of skills affected by Magic Attack.
HP Bonus The ratio of skills affected by Max HP.

State Guide

Name Description
Stunned Prevents a target from moving, attacking, or using skills.
Frozen Prevents a target from moving, attacking, or using skills. This is an advanced stunning effect and will not be affected by CC time reduction.
Suppressed Prevents a target from moving, attacking, or using skills. This is an advanced stunning effect and can't be removed.
Airborne Prevents a target from moving, attacking, or using skills. The target will fly into the air within the duration.
Transformed Prevents a target from attacking or using skills. The target will be transformed into other creatures.
Silenced Prevents a target from using skills.
Immobilized Prevents a target from moving and interrupts Blink, The target can't use Blink within the duration.
Horrified/Feared Prevents a target from attacking or using skills. The target will move randomly within the duration.
Taunted Forces a target to do Basic Attack to the caster. The target can't use skills within the duration and will attack the caster again.
Disarmed Prevents a target from attacking using Basic Attacks.
Untargetable/Invincible/Invulnerable Where a hero can be locked onto, taking no damage within the duration.
Control Immunity Where a target will not be affected by any Control Effects.
Slowing Immunity Where a target will not be slowed down.
Speed-Up Increases Movement Speed.
Stealth/Conceal To be invisible to enemies.

Common Terms

Name Description
AFK Away from keyboard (phone).
Cancer Usually blurted by angry players. Referring to a player who has little to no contribution to the team.
Feed Tends to suicide through slaughtering by enemies, especially a player with most deaths.
Carry/Core A hero with high damage output and has the best capability to kill the opposing team's heroes, and take objectives
TOP Top Lane
MID Middle Lane
BOT Bottom Lane
ROAM Trace another lane and especially purchasing Roam Equipment.
Rotation  The act of moving from your lane to another lane in an effort to get objectives and/or kills.
Push To clear minion waves and/or destroy the opponent's turret/s
212 2 Heroes on TOP, 1 Hero on MID, and 2 Heroes on BOT.
122 1 Hero on TOP (Commonly Offlaner), 2 Heroes on MID (Commonly Junglers and Mage), and 2 Heroes on BOT (Commonly Support and Hard Carry).
131 1 Hero on TOP (Commonly Offlaner), 3 Heroes on MID (Midlaners and Initiator), and 1 Hero on BOT (Another Offlaner).
Killing Spree Killing 3 enemy heroes with no death.
Mega Kill Killing 4 enemy heroes with no death.
Unstoppable Killing 5 enemy heroes with no death.
Monster Kill Killing 6 enemy heroes with no death.
Godlike Killing 7 enemy heroes with no death.
Legendary Killing 8 or more enemy heroes with no death.
Double Kill Consecutively kill 2 enemy heroes in a short period of time.
Triple Kill Consecutively kill 3 enemy heroes in a short period of time.
Maniac Consecutively kill 4 enemy heroes in a short period of time.
Savage Consecutively kill 5 enemy heroes in a short period of time.
Wiped Out When all enemy heroes are dead.
Shut Down When successfully kill a hero who has 3 or more kills with no death.
Turtle A special monster on the battlefield. Heroes will get special BUFF and extra Gold Bonus to all ally heroes after killing it.
Lord A special monster on the battlefield. Heroes will get Gold Bonus after killing it. One Luminous Lord will attack with them.
Emblem A special item that can increase heroes' Attributes on the battlefield.
Battle Spells Heroes can not only use their own Skills but also use Battle Spells.
DEBUFF A special state that can decrease heroes' power.
Converted Attribute Heroes' one Attribute will be increased by reducing another one.
Creep BUFF Heroes gain a special BUFF by killing some specific Creeps.
Blink/Dash A hero moves from one position to another in a very short time.
Hero Banning & Picking After players' rank reaches Epic, they can play Draft Pick in Ranked Mode and ban specific heroes in the selection stage and take turns to choose heroes they want to use.
Invalid Matches During Draft Pick, if a team has players who disconnect within the first three minutes of the game and the team votes for surrender, this match will be determined.
KDA Kill-Death-Assist: (Kills + Assists) / Deaths.
MMR (Matchmaking Rating) A player's match history, showing changes in MMR after each game. Matchmaking Rating or MMR is a value that determines the skill level of each player. This value is used in matchmaking. Winning increases a player's MMR, while losing decreases it.
MVP (Most Valuable Player) A player who got the highest score in the team that can be seen through Post Game.

Strategies

Name Description
Funneling Support hero holds the creep wave as best as possible until Hard Carry comes to clear the jungle in between his jungle rounds. Essentially, this strategy simply aims to help secure one hero. The common support is Tank while the Hard Carry is Marksman.
Ganking Roam and ambush enemy heroes.
Split Push 1 Pusher Hero each Side Lane.
Harass Used to annoy the enemy with non-lethal damage and forcing them to go heal, be set up for ganking, or recall in order to push.
Backdoor A term that is used for the strategy meaning players will attack the enemy towers and base without the cover of your creeps/minions.
Delay Used to annoy enemy's Core/Jungler while they taking buff so their rotation will be delayed.
