Overview

With the advancement of civilization and the growth of population, the damage humans brought to nature caused a grave change to the laws of the world — the emergence of the "Darkside". Also known as the "Dark Realm", it gathers the evil thoughts of humans, and from them, gives birth to the "Soul Eaters". These monsters can derive human power to reproduce and become stronger.

Soul Eaters cannot be perceived by average humans and are very hard to destroy. They have the power to corrupt thoughts and spread like a plague. Once they arrive in the human world, wars and chaos will happen everywhere, resulting in massive destruction. These monsters born from evil human thoughts have led human society to collapse at its peak.

The appearance of the Dark Realm has also stimulated the Eterna of Aeternitas. Under the influence of the Eterna, a special breed of humans emerged, those who can see the Soul Eaters and use the "Psionic" granted by Eterna to fight them. They call themselves Exorcists.

After years of fighting and cleansing, the Exorcists sealed the connection between the two worlds under the lead of the five clans and stopped the Dark Realm from corrupting the human world. But they were unable to totally sever the connection between worlds, meaning that there will always be some Soul Eaters breaching the seal and entering the human world, with rifts always appearing in large cities with massive populations.

The killing has never stopped.

Exorcists Intro

Exorcists are humans enlightened by the Eterna, they can use exorcism skills of different types to fight the Soul Eaters.

Exorcists will undergo years of rigorous training, allowing them to master monsterology, magic, alchemy, history, and other knowledge, along with physical and skill training. The training of an Exorcist is the act of turning a human into a powerful killing machine, and their reaction and sensory abilities will be greatly enhanced. Ordinary humans are completely outgunned against Exorcists, the duty of an Exorcist is to hunt down Soul Eaters.

Exorcists use different kinds of weapons that most suits them. They also use various kinds of items (such as potions), psychic skills, and a type of magic called enchantment.

Association of Exorcists

The Association of Exorcists is an organization formed by the Exorcists and their supporters centuries ago. Its original name is "Essence", which means "those who know the essence of the world". The founding tenet of this organization is to "cleanse the Soul Eaters and protect the world".

As time has gone by, the organization has grown bigger and bigger and developed into multiple societies. A society is usually led by an elder and may contain several divisions. These societies still hold their original aspiration and fight for the human race in the darkness.

Today, the Association of Exorcists holds one division in each of the five major sectors of the world (Glenarm in the west, Mannoroth in the east, Sunderland in the north, Exeter in the south, and Topsham in the center). Each division has a director, several Exorcists, and other department members.

All these divisions (located in Gold City, Fire City, Water City, Earth City and Wood City) are disguised as companies and built on the space rifts that connect the human world and the Dark Realm. Their duties are to monitor anomalies in the Dark Realm, enhance space seals, and cleanse Soul Eaters who make their way into the human world.

Events Phase 2

3 events coinciding the debut of Exorcists Phase 2 had been released on Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, with the first event started on 18 May 2024. Its final event finished on 16 June 2024.
