Turrets, also known as towers, are the main buildings of the battlefield that attack enemy units on range. They deal damage to a target at a time (the more they stay on its attack range, the more damage they will receive), and provides vision to the team and in the minimap.
There are nine turrets for each team on the battlefield and only two on Brawl.
Description[]

Turret positions
There are three lanes on the map: Top Lane, Middle Lane (or Mid Lane) and Bottom Lane (or Bot Lane).
Objectives[]
All three lanes are set up with three turrets each and your goal is to get through waves of minions and destroy all the turrets. Once you have passed the turrets, you need to destroy enemy Base itself to win the game.
- When pushing lanes to get to a turret you do not want to just charge in and fire wildly, otherwise it would lead to a premature defeat.
- Clear out enemy minions as quick as possible so you have more time to attack the turrets. If your minions manage to survive as they enter the range of the turret, attack it until the tower is destroyed. You can also do this alongside your teammates.
- Be careful when attacking enemies' turrets, enemies will come to defend their precious defense (you should do the same). Always keep an eye on the map and have an escape plan.
- Just repeat the process on the next two turrets until you reach the enemy base. When you are attacked by enemy heroes, it is best to focus your attacks on them.
- Have your lane ally back you up and if you are lucky, your team has a jungler to rush in and join the fray long enough to clear your lane. It is all about teamwork so being shy will not get you far.
- Minions on your team can overwhelm the turret, allowing the player's controlled Hero to severely damage, or eventually destroy the enemy's turret.
- If Lord is on your team, it will tank the damage for you or your allied Heroes, allowing your team to push a certain lane to expose the enemy Base.
- If Enhanced or Evolved, the Lord will do a one-time attack that deals 50% of the turret's hitpoints with True Damage. This allows the push to be more effective against the enemy team.
- When Evolved, the Lord will gain additional protection depending on the amount of allied Heroes you have, allowing him to tank more effectively, especially in the endgame.
Properties[]
Outer Turrets are temporarily invincible with a hidden health bar but are inactive until the 15-second mark after the minions have first spawned.
- It means a fast hand
- However, the detection component is still active.
or someone using reaching it early can stand within its attack range without being attacked.
- All turrets behind in the same lane remain completely invincible and its health bar is hidden until the previous one is destroyed. For example, destroying an Inhibitor Turret on any lane will expose the Base itself.
- It means 's freezing effect cannot halt them in any way.
Story[]
Soldiers guarding the Outer Turret have already accepted their fate. Sometimes, a few of them would survive the war, but to them, the only thing worth remembering is the first 5 minutes of the war - their bravest time.
Inner Turrets are the backbone of the defense, as least that is what they want to call themselves. Before they go out to battle, every squad has solemnly sworn that they would never be defeated before the Outer Turret ruined!
Base Turrets are the last defense of the Base. Attacking the Base Turret means launching the final strike. When sentries find the Base Turret destroyed, they will summon the best soldiers to commence the final attack.
The Base is the last line of defense for the soldiers, which also symbolizes their highest faith. Legends say that many Heroes swore as long as they draw breath, the enemy would never break through, however...
Turret Priority[]
- Turrets will lock onto the first targetable, alive enemy walking into its attack range.
- Among the non-hero units, turret prioritizes the Summoned Lord.
- When an allied hero within a range slightly further than its attack range is damaged by a targetable, valid enemy hero standing in its attack range, the turret will switch to attack the enemy hero until it is no longer valid to attack.
- The turret may change priorities if its target becomes untargetable, moves out of range, or dies.
- That means when a hero is being attacked by the turret, no matter how much damage is dealt by other heroes to the turret's ally hero, the turret will not switch targets.
- Turrets do not attack jungle creeps.
Turret Range Indicator[]
- There are three possible indicators for the turrets.
- When the player stands close to an enemy turret with no other allies inside the turret's attack range, the indicator area is yellow.
- When another ally is being attacked by the turret, usually a Minion, the indicator is green, showing that it is safe to enter.
- This is important when you dive turret but does not want to manually pan the camera.
- If the player's Hero becomes valid as the turret's current target, the indicator will turn red with triangle signs with an exclamation point inside each and a warning sound is played.
- The indicator turns red faster than the turret's attack speed.
Turret Damage[]
Turret damage resets on an enemy hero after two seconds of not taking damage.
- The damage dealt is determined right upon the turret attacking, not upon hitting.
- When an enemy hero is hit by two different turrets, the damage of each bullet fully stacks.
- The enemy does not need to leave the area to reset the damage, it can be either the turret is disabled for 2 seconds, or it switches targets for 2 seconds.
- 's resets the stacking damage on himself.
If a turret's shot is flying towards an enemy, and the turret was destroyed while the projectile is still flying mid-air, it will not deal any damage upon impact.
Turret damage cannot be reduced.

Turret Detection[]
- Turrets fully reveal camouflaged and invisible enemy Heroes and Minions. However, these enemies take a longer delay.
- Turrets prioritize the real
- This allows the allied Heroes to quickly deal damage to the real Sun, especially if they ally's team is defending a push.
among his clones when only he is in the attack range.
Appearances[]
The color of certain parts of the turrets change color depending on the team, usually red or blue.
Sanctum Island (New)[]
- The turrets in this island all appear as a tall, concrete structure with brass linings at the top of the platform with a crystal at the center, where the bow, which is made out of concrete with brass ends, and the bowstring resides. When a turret is activated for the first several seconds in a battle, the bow lifts itself up, and generates a large energy arrow. It attacks by shooting a large arrow which deals damage to the target.
- Unlike other turret skins, the turret of this skin allows the bow to rotate where it attacks.
- For the Base, however, it appears as a circular hole made of concrete with pillars equidistant to each other, with a metallic arm each, initially retracted. At the center of the hole is a large crystal, which color changes depending on the team. After a few seconds of the game before the battle starts, the metallic arms extend, and a small crystal on top appears. It attacks by firing an energy blast from the small crystal, which deals damage to the target.

Turret Types[]
Outer Turret[]
The Outer Turret is the primary turret on the battlefield that would lose its turret protection shield after 5 minutes. When being attacked, a sound will be played, a small notification text and a minor minimap ping is displayed.
The Golden Shield of each lane gives a total of 360 gold each when depleted.
Abilities[]
Energy Shield: For the first five minutes in a battle, all outer turrets of both teams generate a tall, golden shield that absorbs 5,000 damage and reduces ranged and melee damage taken by 30%. Attacking the shield grants 1 Gold for every 10 damage. While the shield is active, nearby allied heroes will receive 15% less damage. This ability persists until it is destroyed or if the first five minutes of a game have passed, where it will dissipate afterwards.

- Main article: Sacred Statue
[[File:Wanwan Sacred Statue.JPG|thumb|left|200px|
's Statue]] The Sacred Statue is a skin applied to active turrets. You can see the Sacred Statue choice when choosing a hero. In the game, you can replace the skin turret and be near the active turret. You can see a button in the shape of a turret and it will immediately change the appearance of the turret. It will still attack as normal, even while transforming.- This action does not interrupt any channeling abilities. It also increases your Star Protection Point in game by 5.
- Only one statue can only be applied per turret.
